You post your name to a tech job board once, and forever shall recruiters dominate your inbox.
Today, I got an email asking me if I wanted a C# development position in New Jersey. For once, I decided to respond asking why anyone would contact *me* about this - he said "his database" told him to.
The tail end (heh, no pun intended) of the conversation is simply this:
